Position Purpose:

NB: The positions will be based in Bloemfontein and Kilner Park

Transnet Engineering is looking for a young talented CA(SA) to support the Transnet Engineering financial accounting team

with the reporting in terms of statutory and International Financial Reporting Standards on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly

and annual basis.

Position outputs:

Assists the Senior Manager: Financial Accounting and Executive Manager: Financial Accounting to ensure that the financial

information in the general ledger is complete, accurate, timeous and complies with applicable reporting framework, primarily

the International Financial Reporting Standards.

Assist to ensure transactions are recorded and classified correctly in the relevant accounts including ensuring that correct

GLs are Utilised that incorrectly posted transactions are timeously reclassified.

Interrogates the transactions and account balances in the GL to ensure they are valid, accurate and are in accordance with

IFRS.

Assist in the successful completion of the audit and ensuring on time submission of audit information.

Assist in other finance tasks in the department as and when required without limiting scope of work to what is documented

above.

Qualifications & Experience:

A qualified Chartered Accountant CA (SA) qualification with a completed articles is required
3 years Minimum experience in Financial Accounting
Reporting experience is an added advantage
