Job Description:

Minimum requirement

  • Have a relevant qualification in Finance with experience as a Cost and Management Accountant.
  • Proven professional experience to ensure an overall level of accuracy to capture financial information.
  • Experience in accurate management reporting.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Month-end financial reporting and preparation and posting of journals, review of factory recoveries and cost, analysis, and presentation of results.
  • Product costing, monthly cost roll, and ad-hoc costing to support engineering and production releasing new products.
  • Ensure finance and internal control policies for the site are accurate and up-to-date and communicate these to operations.
  • Act as a business partner to operations for the generation of business cases for Capex investment.
  • Development of site overhead budget.
  • Ensuring the site’s fixed asset register is complete and up to date.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Responds to operations-related inquiries, and as an escalation point of contact.
  • Supports implementation of financial and business administration policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Contributes to budget planning processes and ensures coherence with internal guidelines.
  • Highlight any other issues that require management to action or resolve.
  • Monitor contracts management i.e., supplier and service providers where needed.
  • Organizing twice yearly stock-takes and ongoing stock management control for the manufacturers’ sites including scrap revenues and maintenance of labour and overhead recovery rates within the SAP system.
  • Review cost-saving opportunities to support the site’s performance improvement programs (3i, PDCA, OnePumaWeb).
  • Audit support to CFO, FC, and Finance Team.
  • Liaise with functionally involved management and professionals on an operational basis.
  • Carry out any other duties within the scope of the role requested by the CFO.
