Job Description:
- Responsible for facilitating and managing delivery processes, to ensure optimal levels of efficiency and maintain awareness of team velocity and skillsets.
- Assists in eliminating impediments for Product Teams, particularly ones that involve external teams or integrated delivery.
- Monitor progress of the Product Teams, understanding the uniqueness of each Product Team and pace of progression.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Product Roadmap, including:
- Aligning with Product Managers on the Product Roadmaps for each team.
- Understanding the priorities of the Product Teams and representing these priorities in cross-functional meetings/initiatives.
- Understanding (technical) environmental constraints, by working closely with IT and aligning implementation plans.
- Assist in creating a cross-team Product Roadmap which is indicative of capacity and feasibility of projects.
- Summarizing development work at the proper levels of detail.
- Required to provide status updates and insight to the Product Team stakeholders and leadership. This could include on delivery improvement areas and guidance on how to approach delivery, planning and releases.
- Constantly re-assess teams, team structure and delivery process for areas of improvement.
- Participate in applicable touchpoints with other overarching Product Team members such as the Change Management Lead, Solution Architects, and Release Managers.
Minimum requirements
- Outcomes and systems thinker.
- Demonstrates knowledge of delivery processes and a keen understanding of an end-to-end ecosystem, inclusive of agile delivery processes, product management, orchestration of efforts to deliver successfully, and coordination of efforts required in cross-team / cross-functional delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Seeks to drive teams forward and can challenge ways of thinking regarding delivery planning, whilst shaping delivery to deliver to the online roadmap.
- Strong communicator and a progressive leader who looks to uplift and motivate teams.
- Experience in agile operating models.
- Collaborative.
- Able to manage a variety of stakeholders.
- Relevant Degree (Information Systems, Informatics, Systems Engineering or similar).
- 5 years delivery management experience in managing multiple projects in retail, e-commerce, or technology.
- Experience in a consulting environment, digital or retail environment.
- Agile certifications advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years agile delivery experience.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
