Requirements for OPERATIONS MANAGER at Smollan:-

We’re on the lookout for an experienced operational leader who ensures growth for clients, customers and Smollan by proactively influencing and managing relationships between the client, customers and employees; spotting opportunities and providing insights; managing the resources required to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations; and acting as a Smollan people custodian, leader and people manager.

The successful incumbant will be responsible for:
Establishing set of desktop procedures to drive daily, weekly and monthly management routines

Monitor returns process performance and collaborate with the field teams to drive improvements.

Communication with the Retail Team and go to manager/client

Accurate and timely responses

Concise information regarding order status and shipments.Returns should follow protocol.

Build positive working relationships with store managers to clarify priorities and best practices.

Manage the Sales Operations.

Calling on stores as per call cycle and providing feedback per store.

Proactively looking at improving sales and drives, flagging concerns and issues in advance.

Liaising with clients to drive sales and improvements.

Training field staff on best practice.

Matric Certificate

Certificate/Diploma/ Degree in retail management is an advantage.

Retail Stores and Sales Operations experience.

Understanding the frozen business and protocols.

Self-motivation and self-discipline is a must.

Able to plan and priorities.

Negotiating skills.

Computer skills required in Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook and Teams.
