Job Description:
To monitor, operate and control the supervisory systems (access system, CCTV cameras, fire detection system, fleet vehicles tracker reporting and radio network).
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- PSIRA Grade C certificate
- A Valid NKP Certificate
- SAPS issued Firearms Competency Certificate for Handgun and Shot Gun
- 3 years experience in a security environment
- Computer literacy
- Shift work
- Security Control Room Training Certificate from SASSETA and or PSIRA Accredited Training Institution
Primary Duties
- Monitoring CCTV cameras
- Monitoring the Access Control System
- Monitoring the Fire Detection System and all other emergency systems
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders during emergency situations
- Enrol and terminate staff on the access system
- Inspection and testing of emergency equipment
- Keep record of, and maintain accurate and real time information relating to all reported incidents
- Ensure that all security registers and inspection reports are always updated and accessible
- Report all and any anomaly observed from the monitored CCTV.
