Job Description:

Large integrated single-site precious metals refining and smelting complex, based in Jhb has an opening for a BU Management and Project Accountant for the Refinery and Fabrication Division.  Provide professional Management Accounting service to the BU to improve efficiency, cost reductions, maximise profits and to supply meaningful, relevant and accurate information timeously as a tool for decision-making.
Ideal candidate will have a completed B.Com (Management Accounting) degree and/or CIMA or studying towards, coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in Cost & Management Accounting.  Work experience within the Mining Sector and a refinery essential.  Knowledge of Financial Management, Fundamental Accounting Concepts and Principles, Management Account reporting (income statement only), implement internal controls and adherence; Financial Management analysis (ratio analysis, trend analysis and sensitivity analysis, scenario / simulation analysis) as well as management reporting and systems etc.  Solid exposure to SAP essential.
