Job Description:

Minimum requirement

  • (CA) SA qualification.
  • Min 2 years relevant working experience.
  • Interest and experience with TAX and IFRS are essential.
  • Computer literacy – MS Office (With high proficiency in MS Excel).
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience.
  • Strong interest in tax.
  • Leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of group accounts and consolidations.

Duties and responsibilities:
IFRS Reporting

  • Compilation of monthly reporting packs.
  • Preparation of monthly income and deferred tax journals.
  • Assisting with quarterly, half-year, and year-end deliverables.
  • Preparation of subsidiary statutory financial statements.

Budgets / Forecasts

  • Preparation of balance sheet for forecasts and budget.
  • Preparation of the budgeted cash flow statement.

Tax Reporting and administration

  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the Wear and Tear register.
  • Reviewing all tax schedules.
  • Preparation of provisional tax calculations for all SA entities.
  • Preparation of responses to SARS tax queries.
  • Reconciliation of tax GL accounts.
  • Maintenance of all SA Group tax opinions.
  • Maintenance of E-filing profile.
  • Preparation of tax returns.
  • Maintain an overall view of tax compliance in the Group (VAT, PAYE, Income tax).


  • Quarterly and annual SARB reporting.
  • ERP (Navision) champion in finance driving automation and Optimisation.
  • Other finance-related projects.

Assisting the HOD

  • Financial Management in the overall management of the finance department.
  • Assisting with Financial Year End deliverables.
